Hiring Process

You will interview with a member of the With BABY & I Talent Acquisition Team so you can share your specialties, specific certifications, and unique experiences, and let us know the type of work you are looking for.

We will then match you with a family looking for the type of unique qualities you possess, ensuring successful placement. We will assist in negotiating your contract and salary and any specific requirements or conditions you might have regarding your employment with the client. We are continually seeking nurturing, trustworthy, reliable specialists to assist our clients in their family’s journey.


Our Newborn Care Specialists – also commonly referred to as “baby nurses” – are not registered nurses but do possess specialized training and certifications in newborn care and prenatal support. A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) can assist you throughout the entire pre- and post- birth process. This is an especially great option for first-time mothers.

Pre-birth care allows you the time to get to know your care specialist prior to them working with your newborn. They can accompany you to medical appointments to keep a log of information and ensure you ask the right questions. They can recommend a prenatal diet to help you feel your best or even assist with setting up the nursery and seeing to it that you have everything you need in place before bringing your little one home. Once your new addition is home, let our newborn care specialists gift you the luxury of peace of mind.


What Schedule Works Best for You?
With BABY & I offer newborn care experts who can fit the needs of your busy life and schedule. Depending on the level of support you are looking for, our caregivers can provide:

Full-time and part-time nanny services
Live-in and Live- Out
24-hour care (two 12-hour shifts)
Hourly overnight services
Hourly daytime shifts
How Can a Newborn Care Specialist Help Me?
Our NCS’s possess a wealth of knowledge about newborn care and development. Allow them to support you during the day so you may focus on your own rest and recovery. They not only have the knowledge to care for your little one but also the expertise to support a healing mother.

Are you in desperate need of developing good sleeping habits so that your family can rest and recharge through the night? Or possibly looking for assistance during the day with feedings, changes, and logging the relevant information for the upcoming Dr.’s visits? We can assist you with:

Feeding, breastfeeding support, and guidance
Initiating a Sleep Schedule
Umbilical cord and circumcision care
Maintaining detailed development logs ( these can be used to bring to doctor appointments or for short-term cases so the family can pick up right where the NCS’ left off)
Sleep training
Light housekeeping as it relates to the infant
Preparation washing/ sterilizing bottles
Organizing the child's nursery and maintaining a safe environment


Finding Your Care Specialist
Once your placement specialist completes the consultation and has a thorough understanding of your specific needs, preferences, personality, and required skill set, the selection process takes place. You will be presented with one or more child care professionals, including their comprehensive backgrounds, references, and resumes. We will arrange in-person or virtual interviews, as well as assist in negotiating your caregiver’s contract and salary.

Our Selection Process
Our selection process will be uniquely suited to your family. In your search for support, we understand the fears of bringing an unfamiliar face into your home. The With BABY & I selection process ensures your caregiver won’t feel like a stranger, but more like the help you have been searching for! We take the reins during the arduous, thorough screening process, ultimately matching you with the helping hand that you would have selected yourself.

Hiring and Onboarding
Allow us to sort out all the onboarding details to make this transition as seamless as possible. In addition to assistance with negotiating the caregiver’s contract and salary, we can guide you on all other facets of hiring and employing a nanny.

On-Going support
Once your With BABY & I Newborn Care Specialist has joined your family, we continue to provide ongoing support. Should a short-term or even permanent replacement be necessary, we will be there to ensure a seamless transition. With BABY & I is able to support you in the many phases of your family’s needs from pre-birth coaching to one-on-one newborn care and long-term nanny or even in-home education. As your family grows, Baby & I have a talented team of professionals to meet your every need.
